My First Vendor Event: A Huge Success!
Share
This past weekend, I had the amazing opportunity to be a vendor at the R.A.W 5th Annual Women’s Conference, and I’m excited to share that it was a huge success! This event marked a major milestone for me and Billy Builds the Future, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
Selling 43 Books & Making an Impact
Going into the event, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised by the overwhelming support and interest in my book. I sold 43 books, a number that still amazes me! While the event didn’t include kids, it was filled with parents and teachers who saw the value in introducing young minds to tech in a fun and engaging way. Many shared how much they appreciated the mission behind Billy Builds the Future, and their enthusiasm reassured me that this book is making an impact.
A Winning Setup: Colors, Stickers & Bookmarks
One of the biggest takeaways from the event was how much people were drawn to my booth setup. The vibrant colors, stickers, and bookmarks were a definite win! Attendees kept commenting on how eye-catching and inviting everything looked, and it made me realize just how important branding and presentation are when showcasing a product. And of course, Billy, the star of the book, was a hit!
Confidence in My Journey
Surprisingly, I wasn’t nervous at all. Instead, I felt completely in my element, as if this is exactly what I’m supposed to be doing. The event gave me a new level of confidence, and I’m now more excited than ever to attend more vendor events, meet more amazing people, and continue sharing Billy Builds the Future with the world.
What’s Next?
This is just the beginning! After such a successful first event, I’m ready for more opportunities to share my book and connect with even more parents, educators, and young readers. Stay tuned—there’s so much more to come!
